On the developments in Greece
The 12 of February 2012 in Greece was marked by the approval of the new memorandum by
the majority of the parliament despite the losses by the two big parties. The newagreement with the EU ensures the interests of the creditors and thecapitalists, attacks the labor law and rights, reduces the minimum salary and leads the workers, especially the youth to unemployment and a life of misery and poverty.
Despite the shameless threats of the coalition government, of the monopolies and their political expressers, the people of Greece demonstrated their refusal to accept the new austerity measures during the last weekend with massive strikes and rallies. The youth together with the workers showed that they cannot be blackmailed and threatened any more by the government, the troika and the EU. In massive numbers the Greek popular strata shouted that they refuse to be sacrificed for the profits of the capitalists, Greeks and foreigners.
